We have received the 1,000 minimum pre-orders required by the State of Tennessee for the specialty license plate and it has now advanced to the production phase.

The State will complete the license plate production process within the next three months. Once the production process begins, everyone who pre-ordered a license plate will receive a letter from the state providing directions on where to pick up their license plate.

Now that the 1,000 minimum pre-order requirement has been met, the foundation may no longer accept orders for the license plate.

All questions related to the license plate should be directed to State of Tennessee Vehicle Services (615-741-3101).

The Pat Summitt Foundation Secures 1,000 Required Orders for Production of Official Tennessee Specialty License Plate

Knoxville, Tenn., March 9, 2018 – Officials from The Pat Summitt Foundation are proud to announce that they have received the 1,000 minimum pre-orders required by the State of Tennessee for its specialty license plate to advance to the production phase. The foundation launched this initiative in 2016 with help from Sen. Becky Duncan Massey.

“Pat Summitt is a beloved Tennessee legend and this is another special way to memorialize her and recognize the impact she made on so many lives. Her license plate will provide an annual revenue stream that will help her foundation serve patients and caregivers, and advance Alzheimer’s disease research,” said Patrick Wade, executive director of The Pat Summitt Foundation.
